Many will rack up the miles in flights across the country and probably beyond. For those who are product junkies (like myself), fragrances, lotions, shampoos, and liquid or crème cosmetics will fill personal carry-on bags. In addition to remembering the TSA rules while standing in those long lines, we will also have the arduous task of reaching our destinations looking as radiant and refreshed as possible. Since long flights can be stressful on the body and may take a toll on your skin if you’re not prepared. From our chat with beauty care experts and owners, we extracted tips as well as products to use for our impending travels. Overall we gathered how important it is to travel with the right skincare products, as well as the following tips and reminders to keep your skin looking refreshed and stress free as the holidays approach:
Lotion Up

Stay Hydrated
The smartest way to keep refreshed is drinking water. Stay hydrated by drinking lots of water (the bathroom breaks can be annoying but they are good for your skin).
No Makeup
I know, I know. It might be a scary thought but going au natural prevents pores from clogging. If you must cheat, wait for a layover or get closer to landing time to quickly apply a light foundation. Concentrate on makeup that keeps the eyes bright and looking alert. But seriously, skip the heavy make up. Your skin needs to breathe.
Face Wash
Wash your face with water and face wash, an easier option is to use a disposable cleansing wipe. Follow with a rich moisturizer to combat dryness.
Mask On
A sleep mask is great way to get your beauty rest, avoid under-eye circles and work on ridding your face of blemishes.
Scrub Gently
Exfoliate your face and body with a gentle scrub on the day of travel or the night before. Exfoliating assists in clearing away dead skin, allowing your skin to breathe.
