F-you-money, i.e., freedom-for-you-money (what did you think I meant), seems to be an essential milestone to obtain for women and people of color.
My mom would say (cue African mom voice), “The golden rule is: (s)he who has the most gold makes the rules.”
As a first-generation graduate, corporate professional, and entrepreneur, I faced this truth daily. The flexibility to spend more time with friends and family, say no to misaligned professional roles or clients and pursue a passion while helping others to grow in their calling is what financial freedom provides.
