Joyful Joy Foundation Founder Osas Ighodaro Shows Us How To Slay Red Carpet Looks Do Good. Look Good

Nigerian mogul Osas Ighodaro-Ajibade is a woman of many titles: Mommy, Wife, Founder of Joyful Joy foundation, former Miss Black USA, model, presenter, and actress behind the character Adanna (Danni) on the soap opera Tinsel.

‘Joyful Joy Foundation’ co-founded by Osas Ighodaro-Ajibade and Sioux Greaux in the United States of America (USA), and launched in Nigeria, October 13 2013 was birthed to kill off Malaria – the disease that plagues many in Nigeria. She dedicates her efforts and resources towards awareness initiatives and fundraising. ‬

Their mission is to create a healthier and malaria-free Africa through a multi-tier approach. This includes providing local communities with quality food, health, hunger, and disease-prevention programs.

The mission to fight malaria is not only a passion but sadly one that hits close to home for Osas.

Joy Ighodaro, sister to Osas, was infected with malaria during a trip to Nigeria. With very little activism and awareness around malaria, and early detection her life was taken.

Osas is extremely passionate and pro-active about Malaria, using her status as a woman, mother, celebrity, and lover of people to create a platform for eradicating malaria.

There’s one more role she really rocks (and uses to leverage in her mission above): red-carpet fashion icon!
