Sweet Sounds From ‘Sugar’ An Ep by Gabrielle Findley

Gabrielle Monay Findley Sugar EP

Not all music is created equal. Consider this a fact — Gabrielle Findley’s song from her EP SUGAR,  are solvent sounds dissolving all harm done to your ear ways.

Her persistence, feminine musical allure, and work ethic promise — Gabrielle Finley to be the next singer to remind fans what ‘sweet’ sounds like. Her EP ‘SUGAR’ satisfies an incredibly deep R&B craving I’ve had for a while.

On the backdrop of lof-fi beats and a graceful nod towards 90s R&B Gabrielle Finley’s track ‘Can I’ gingerly samples the late Aaliyah’s track “Can I Come Over”

At 30 years old, the musician’s artistry reflects savory and sensory soulfulness — however, backed by grit and tenacity.

The New Jersey native has been writing and creating music since the age of 9, and her talent eventually led her to write and work with the former manager of Nicki Minaj, Gucci Mane, Debra Antney, Missy Elliot, Tsu Surf,  Wale, and many others.

In 2018 her first EP TACTICS caught the attention of DJs from major radio stations and A&Rs of major record labels including Interscope and Republic records. Her latest single, “Bad Things” played on Power 105.1 by DJ Envy, has also been #5 on the leaderboard for hot 97 who’s next and #3.

A plethora of factors determine an artist’s success. Apart from graduating from Columbia High School —where several other now known artists Sza, Rotimi, Eric Hudson, and previously Lauryn Hill, etc. attended— Gabriel immediately began recording her first set of solo songs with other musicians from her school Essex County College and later Montclair State University.
